ORGANIZATIONAL ANNOUNCEMENT:

Services Director, Mary O’Brien, is stepping down after 11 years of dedicated service to Staying
Connected. Mary, a truly valued member of our Leadership Team, has been an integral part of
our mission to assist Sun City residents remain engaged in our community since our earliest
days. Her leadership and commitment to our members and volunteers helped shape Staying
Connected into the organization it is today. Mary’s experiences included her time as the
Transportation Coordinator, Vice President on the Board of Directors, marketing and events
participation, and direct involvement in most all aspects of our Service Operations.

We are deeply grateful to Mary for the many contributions she has made over the past decade.
She has left a lasting impact on our organization and on all who have had the privilege of
working along side her. We will miss her presence and friendship and wish her all the best.

Our Staying Connected volunteers have driven more than 577,000​ transportation miles in the last 11 years. That’s more than the distance to the moon and back!

Daily Reassurance Calls

Our Resource Hub team has made nearly 56,000 Daily Reassuring Calls, received over 1,300 visitors, and answered over 4,300 inbound calls.

Volunteer Transports

Our Staying Connected volunteers have transported our local Sun City residents to the grocery store and doctor’s appointments over 23,000 times!
